just got braces...eeek...are they a big turn off..only need them for 11 months...any adviceGuys (or girls)...need your advice/encouragement?

You got your teeth taken care of.., now concentrate on something else. they do not need any more attention.
Guys think they're hot if your young. Hopefully they're young too.
lots of people have to get them i wouldnt think it would be a turn off for guys be happy..only 11 months i know people that have to wear them for around 5 years!
If you need braces you need braces.





I never thought of them as a 'turn-off'.

Well, i know what its like to have braces.


And i dont see why they have to be turn off, as long as you keep them clean. Remember to always wash your teeth after u eat so the food doesnt get stuck.


Plus, they can be fun 'cause u can change their color to match your outfit or according to the seansons.


Good luck and always remember to keep a possitive attitude cause otherwise those eleven months will feel like 11 years!!
jus wait for a while to find a guy who will like you. i helps if you dont have braces because they can scrach sometimes.
I had braces for two years, and the boys hardly noticed. Trust me.
dont worry bout the braces girly..and if anyone thinks its a turnoff wait til you get them removed and watch them all come around you ...
As long as you have a nice personality and friendly to people they will look past it. Personally I don't have a problem with it because braces will not make a girl look less hot, and I know it's not permanent so whatever.
You're probably too young for it to matter much anyway. When I was in high school I had them for 2 years, but high school doesn't matter. It was well worth it, because now that I actually have a clue about women my teeth look great. Stick it out and don't worry about what the boys are doing at your age. Trust me, people won't stop talking to you, braces are common these days.
